Hi, Miss Delbeth! I am a frequent reader of your blog. I want to say that I am always enjoying your blog entries especially those about you as a med student. I am a student also from UP, taking up BA Sociology. Uhm, things are becoming so complicated to me nowadays unlike before. I am graduating (hopefully) this semester. I just want to ask you what to do during these uncertain moments? moments I feel like giving up, moments like I feel weak and all. I hope you can send me tips. Thank you!

PS. All the best on your career. God bless you po! 🙂

Hello, Mhae! I can feel you. Those days when you are tired and discouraged and on top of that you do not feel well? It can happen to anybody. It’s never a sin to be tempted to quit. Remember, spiritual giants have experienced the same thing. It’s times like this that most students, especially graduating ones, tend to feel negative about themselves because of certain pressures in life.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalms 27:14. I want you to cling on that verse. Maybe you can take a pause for awhile after reading this, close your eyes and pray. Talk to our Father in Heaven and pour out all your worries and anxieties to Him. And I’d like to quote Theodore Roosevelt’s famous line, “Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty” I will be praying for you, Mhae!

    Hello Delbeth!

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts and admire your desire to share your experiences through your blog! You are truly an inspiration to all current and future doctors. I am currently a medical student with the goals of reducing physician burnout and encouraging others to pursue medicine. We have recently launched a website(www.motivatemd.com), that strives to create a supportive and resourceful online community for pre-med/medical students/residents/physicians, ultimately cultivating inspired, compassionate, and progressive physicians! It achieves this by providing forums, user submitted blogs, resources, life hacks and videos to inspire and provide useful information. We are currently seeking authors to share about their lifestyle, path, and motivations that fuel their desire to become great physicians. With that said, I believe your talents and experiences are perfect for sharing with our community! If you are interested in sharing some of your current/future posts with us, send them to MotivateMD@yahoo.com, for posting to our site. In return, we will help broaden the exposure of your current blog by sharing your blog’s link, and any other information about your blog that you want people to see. We look forward to hearing from you!
With your help, we can once again prove that practicing medicine is still the greatest and most rewarding profession!

    Hello Mrs Delbeth,

My name is God Warriors from the blog Taking Up My Cross. I just wanted to take the time and thank you for following my blog. It’s great to see a fellow Christian blogger on WordPress.

I am a current student pursuing a degree in history with plans to transfer to another Christian school and minor in biblical studies.

My blog focuses on the Christian’s walk with Christ and focuses on faith, trust, leadership, hope, fasting and prayer and other factors in a Christian’s walk with God. I plan this February, to do a 3-part miniseries on God’s Love.

Actually in the month of January, I did a 3-part miniseries on the Purpose of Fasting. If you would like to check it out: Part 1 is in the link below.

    https://takeupyourcrossandfollowmeblog.wordpress.com/2018/01/05/the-purpose-of-fasting-part-1-what-is-fasting/ .

I pray that you find encouragement and that it impacts your life.
